 Sheila Mackay > Vice President of Professional Services > professional cv > years of relevant experience: 18 In her capacity as Vice President Professional Services, Sheila is responsible for the success of our Professional Services group, including the Consulting, Client Services and Project Management teams. She is an active participant in our Consulting Group. She also plays a critical role in our forensics, DocHunter and business developments efforts. Her responsibilities in both of these arenas include marketing and strategic business planning. Sheila’s strong and lengthy background in the legal industry has provided her with the diversity of skills required to meet these challenges. Most recently, she was the National Director of Litigation Technology at Bingham McCutchen LLP. In this capacity she managed a team of 14 located in five domestic offices and provided support for Bingham’s London office. She worked closely with Bingham attorneys and clients to develop sound strategies for managing electronic data in discovery and investigations. She was responsible for the development and implementation firm wide of best practices regarding electronic data discovery. Vendor selection for outsourced matters and technology selection for internal deployment were her responsibility. She provided educational seminars to firm members and staff and clients regarding the strategic use of technology with a strong focus on the new amendments to the FRCP, document retention, litigation holds and document collection. Before joining Bingham, Sheila worked for a national litigation support vendor where her efforts were focused on creating and implementing their electronic discovery offering. Sheila is a frequent speaker and has written and published many articles. |
