Steve has accumulated many years of experience in litigation management and eDiscovery, both within the law firm and vendor environments. Prior to joining Daegis, Steve was the Senior Litigation Paralegal at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where he provided comprehensive trial support to the litigation department. In addition, he was directly responsible for managing the electronic discovery as it related to the firm including interviewing vendors and managing those relationships; monitoring web seminars; and providing feedback on the industry’s tools, technology and systems. Also at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, Steve was a key contributor in establishing, executing and managing processes and solutions for electronic data management. In this role he implemented best practice protocols for all phases of the eDiscovery process including the collection, processing, review and production of ESI. As a member of the Daegis team, Steve will develop relationships with law firms and corporations by offering an extensive background in litigation and eDiscovery expertise, coupled with Daegis’ suite of services and technologies. Mr. Longwell will assess project requirements and collaborate with clients and Daegis professionals to develop and implement workflow strategies and apply the appropriate technical solutions. His systematic knowledge of the legal environment and litigation technology will serve to compliment Daegis’ consultative approach to client relations.
